PoteCard is a service of Sisimizi Guild Ltd ("we," "us," "our"). By creating an account or subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to these terms.
PoteCard lets you turn a photo of a business card into an interactive digital card, published at a subdomain of potecard.com (or, by separate arrangement, a domain we set up for you).
You sign in with Google — we don't store passwords. You're responsible for the accuracy of the details you publish on your card. You choose your card's subdomain address any time before you first publish; once published, changing it requires unpublishing first.
Paid plans are billed monthly via M-Pesa, in Kenyan Shillings, to Sisimizi Guild Ltd. Publishing a card for the first time requires an active paid plan. Payment is manual, not automatic — we don't store a payment method and nothing charges you without you actively completing an M-Pesa prompt. Paying again before your current period ends extends it by a further month rather than starting a new one; upgrading to a higher plan is available anytime, but switching to a lower plan is only available once your current period has ended. A new or changed plan runs for a full month starting from the date of payment; switching plans mid-period is not prorated, and payments are not refunded for unused days.
There is nothing to actively cancel — simply don't pay again, and your plan lapses at the end of the period you already paid for. Once lapsed, your card is taken offline (no longer publicly visible) until you pay again; this applies to every plan, including Basic. Your card and its data are kept, not deleted, while offline, and it becomes visible again immediately once you pay.
